Ever bought something online?

And found the item at a local store and found out you totally got taken to the cleaners?

Well I purchased a perfect science temp/hydro online and after s/h I paid ruffly 18.00 b/c when I looked online they were about 12 +s/h and I found them at wally world for $7 so I could of bought three for the price I paid for one!!!:cursing:

LOL! I've done that before with computer parts. I've been known to get a score online and find it advertised in the paper or a flyer before the part arrives.

Bought anything on line, that was cheaper locally? Let me think........................no, nope, I don't think so, Unless you count dog turds, bought some of those online (Spain, Austrailia, Canary Islands, SA). Paid huge Pesos and could have gotten em a lot cheaper out of the neighbor's yard and dried them myself...............Does that count???

that does suck bro! can't say its happened to me but I have bought items at shops only to discover they were cheaper elsewhere.

I haven't had the online vs local problem. When the last Tool cd came out the mall had a CD store and then it had a Hot Topic (which carries very limited music). Well since I didn't even think HT would have the CD I got it at FYE for $18 or whatever it was, only to walk down to HT to find it at $10. I promptly walked back to FYE to return the other and when asked "why are you returning the CD?" I said "I'm sure you know HT has them WAY cheaper".

My wife bought a couple things on Ebay only to realize later that once shipping was added she had paid more on Ebay than she would have at the store.

Been there bro!!! I usually try to avoid the impulse buys because of that very reason. I ordered 2 things online lately only for the price at the same store to drop the next day, luckily after emailing the merchant they honored the new price, but yeah I feel ur pain. So, since you are 20 mins away when we gonna meet up and have a smoke???? Or do sailor types not like long hairs???(joking of course).

Oh yeah.... eodcole, that Tool album is sick(in a good way).
