Yeah it may be awhile before we hear from our S Texas Brothers. Most of the power is out down there and officials are talking weeks to restore all of it. Houston took a pretty good hit and the coastal areas are a mess.

No electricity sucks major arse

Only radio for info here
How does things look here overall on tv?

Could take 4weeks for electric to be back up

Cell service is really limited

This reminds me so much of Katrina, where all the city folk got f-ed by the storm. Took about 5-6 days to get power back on for us.

I think you'll have power sooner rather than later Eric :thumbsup:

Nothing worse than no power for an extended time, after these storms the humidity gets awful. Post-Isabel a couple years ago we lost it for 10 days, the first few days cooking out on the grill were fun but it got old real quick. I hope the best for you guys down there.

Tonight, we're staying at my brother's apartment since he's got electricity.

The worst thing was trying to go to sleep. It's almost impossible!
