Heading to Shea

Well, I'm getting the girls ready to go to Shea for the game this afternoon. It's Deaf and Hard of Hearing Day for the Mets and my wife has been asked to have her sign language class of 7 to 10 year old kids to sign "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on top of the dugout during the seventh inning stretch. The kids are stoked!! It's going to be a hot one here in NYC, wish me luck, I hate hot weather.

Hey we had a great time, Mr. Met hung out with the kids on top of the dugout while they did their thing. They were great! And they got to run the bases after the game was over. Too bad the Mets blew it in the 9th. Typical. I'm a Yankees fan myself, but they are even worse than the Mets.
