Okay, so maybe not hell, but please indulge me a bit of a rant. I'm having a really crappy week.

1) The freak Ohio hurricane. Property damages, power outage, annoyances galore. Total insanity.

2) I find out that there is a 99% chance that the Air Force will send us somewhere else next year and we won't be able to stay here in Dayton. That means we will most likely be stationed abroad. We'll be far from family, in a strange place for 3 years, and have to sell our house here (probably at a horrible loss).

3) I sprain my ankle. Talk about adding insult to injury (or rather, the other way around). I wish it happened while doing something herioc or cool, but I tripped on the front porch of my own house...yea, awesome. I really hurts of course, but it's also very difficult to do my job--taking care of our baby.

So yea, sucky week, lol. As soon as my son goes down for a nap I'm going to hobble downstairs and rummage through my tupperdors for something good.

Any suggestions? Not that I have an excellent selection, but I'd like an hour or more of escape.

Thanks for letting me rant!
Nate

Trials & Tribulations...

1)Extra yardwork will give you & your kid some extra time outside before the winter sets in...be thankful or a few sundrenched days before it's too damn chilly to go out and enjoy it.

2) Find a leasing agency that will be willing to take on the rental aspect of your house for you if you go overseas. It's not going to help out much, but should atleast pay for the mortgage and the fee for the agency. You'll still own the house and always have a chunk of land to come back to.

3) I'm in the same boat buddy. I've had my right arm in a sling for the past week and still can't wipe my ass comfortably...things can be worse.

Wow guys, it looks like it's been a tough week for alot of bros! Hang in there, things always work out! I know that sounds like a cliche, but it's true if you think about it!

When it rains, it pours Jeff!

Wife and I have been struggling with the new budget since I took a pay cut with the new job, but I think we finally nailed it.

My sob story was almost the same as yours last month, (Broken Camaro, Broken dryer, Broken Tendon) but all is coming around this week! Camaro comes out of the shop today, arm comes out of the sling today and last week unboxed a new Kenmore.

Dealing with problems is all about getting your poop in a group and eclipsing the shithole it all came from...then there's no more trouble in sight.

I am truly sorry for the misfortune that has befallen all the brothers here but I have to say that after reading this, my week seems a whole lot better.

Have an Opus. The world looks better through a light smoky haze.

I would if I had one. I'll dig around for something else nice I've never had. Though it's always a risk trying something new when you REALLY want to smoke, so maybe I'll go with an old standby like an RP OWR.
