So my landlord says he is tenting out house for termites this weekend and we have to be out at 8am on Friday. Well he gave us all of 9 days notice, but we don't want to make waves, as he did say he would cover the hotel expenses. So anyway my wife was telling her woman's group about it and one lady said she has a cabin in Big Bear that we could use for the weekend. She normally rents it for $150 a night, but we got the hook up for $75 a night. I hate spending money on gas to get up the mountain, but i can't wait to go hiking and fishing with the kids, but i think the high light will be a couple of seriously aged CCs for the evenings. And of course the Alpine Slide. Which is basicly a small bobsled type run, with a little bobsled on wheels that you ride down the run. HELLA fun, but a crash leads to major friction burns. The googlelink for images is below. Anyway I'll try to get some pictures of me in my speedo, the lake is snow runnoff so some shrinkage should be expected, but impressive none-the-less.:grinFU:

"Effects of Witnessing People in Speedos

If a person was to experience a person in speedos they should experience these symptons only if have a severe mental illness for which they should have been hospitalized beforehand. A sane human being should have not symptoms at all.
Tutting and shaking of the head slowly
Vomiting up of vital organs
Whispering and pointing at subject.
A inability to divert attention, (irregardless of effort)
Vomiting up of some non vital organs
Clawing out of one eyes
Holiday ruinedness
Immediate, involuntary suicide

If you were to experience any of these symptons evacuate pool area/beach immediatly."

Dave, google search "The Peppercorn" restaurant. Its super good, and not overpriced. My friend's family owns/runs it. Their last name is Mundell. Throw the name out, maybe you'll get hooked up :p

That was exactly what I was doing except the TV, we didn't watch TV once. How refreshing that was. I was grilling the biggest steak I have even seen, which turn out Bloody and Beautiful. I had a glass of Macallan 12 in hand and a 96 Partagas #1 resting in the mouth of a brass monkey. After dinner we put the kids to bed and sat by the fire reading. I read a bit of the Cigar Companion, someone in the office gave me. Seems like a Cliff's notes for cigars, then I got out this quater's edition of Cigar Magazine and read through some articles. The weekend as a whole was great, but it was so dry my lips chapped before I got out of the car.

Kyle, I never saw your post about the restaurant, but we ate in the whole time. Since we had to bag everything in the fridge before fumigation, we basiclly brought our food from home.
