Here are a couple pics of my first stab at building a cigar box guitar. The neck is red oak stained and varnished. I routed the back of the neck to round off the corners. The covers for the sound holes in the body are sink strainers. It actually sounds pretty good considering I don't know how to play it -- yet!

I gotta say building these things are a little like smoking cigars...habit forming.

Looks pretty nice to me, but I too know nothing about playing a guitar.

Nice work and craftsmanship.

These are amazing, man. I wish I had some kind of skills...any kind really, lol. I can use sandpaper, that's about it.

Some day I'll commission you to make me something. I've thought that an RP Olde World Reserve chest would make make a good instrument--nice and large resonance chamber.

Nice work there. Between you builiding guitars and Indyrob rolling cigars..what the hell is going on here, must be Craft Week at BOTL :guitar:
