Besides having the ugliest cap on earth...it's not a bad little cigar!
I rolled this one this morning while waiting for some more leaf to come in this week. It's about 5 1/2 x 38

I didn't have a mold, but used foil to get it to hold it's shape. Rolled it up and let it sit for about 2 hours.


Yes...I know I have ink under my fingernails. Pitfall of being a printer.

96 nic Lig/99 Hon seco

Criollo binder/wrapper

I did put an extra bit of ligero leaf on the binder for the last half. Should give it a nice little kick in the middle. The blend itself was like a shaped charge - most of the ligero was blended into the 2nd. qaurter of the cigar and tapers off towards the start of the ligero binder. There is still ligero runing the whole length, but I think that more of the seco will come out in the last half and have an underlying richness with the ligero binder.

It takes a few minutes to bunch it up, a few seconds to get the binder on but it takes a couple of hours in a mold to get it to hold it's form. I don't have a lancero (what I was going for) so I used foil to get it's shape. I just rolled it up tight and let it sit.

The wrapper is pretty wet, so you have to let it dry for a day or so. If I had it set up right with a good steady 70%rH supply of wrapper, it would take a lot less time because I wouldn't need to wet the wrapper so much.

I'll smoke this thing tomorrow.
