IMHO, I down think Man v Wikd is nearly as realistic. Half of the battle in being stranded in survivor mode is remaining emntally sound....Much easier to do with a freakin' film crew surrounding you like "Bear" Gryles! Les is on his own...Maybe a bit less personable, but more realistic.

Gotta agree with Man vs Wild.. you see that bullshit? Its to bad, "Bear" is much more marketable.

I like survivorman much more han man vs wild. les is a beast! having to pack all that camera gear, walk away from it to get the shot, then doubling back to get it again. absoulute beast!

Never seen Les drink his piss, water from elephant dung, eat dead and decaying animals, nor the gross creepy crawlies.

No questions about it, Les is a trie naturalist. Everything he does, despite his situations, takes nature to heart. He can survive in nearly any situation and is a phenomenal photographer. Amazing instincts
