I did some horse trading (too broke to buy anything:closedmou) but was able to score a couple bottles of rum...

Mmmmmmmmmmm...it's going to be a warm christmas at Rob's el sótano!

Thanks for the reassurance, I finally found the perfect balance of rum:waer ratio that works for me (Don't dig the alcohol burn, but don't like mine too watery either) and the gates blew wide open!

Rum is a very interesting drink. Very sweet without being overly sweet. It's very smooth with lots of bouquet. Warm and satisying to say the least.

Rum is a very interesting drink. Very sweet without being overly sweet. It's very smooth with lots of bouquet. Warm and satisying to say the least.
Ye got that exactly to the point. Actually, a tad of water helps open any liquor's bouqet (try an old-fashioned glass of scotch with some drops of water).

And the rum is indeed an intriguing drink. A fresh sweetnes, yet never overwhelming; very pairable with a fresh, seafood meal. Now I'm hungry. :shame:
