Hello,
Since Ron is on Vacation, I'll ask the group the newbie questions I'd ask him if he were here.
I'm using a Humidipak One-Step Calibration Kit to calibrate my adjustable hygrometer.... OK I just re-read that about 15 times to make sure I said what I wanted to say... and am a little surprised to at the reading. It appears, after about 48 hours in the zip-locked bag, sitting in a humidor, to be locking in at about 65%. As you know, the Kit comes with a device that says it is 75.5% humidity. Can an adjustable hygrometer really be that far off? I should note this is a new hygrometer, so I've never calibrated it before. Still, it seems like a lot...
I also bought a Paradigm Humidifier...do you just soak the whole device (as is) in water, or do you somehow get the "sponge" out of the plastic?
Thanks for any help and thank you Ron for the stuff!
