Hey guys I have been trying to put together a coolerdor and used florist foam to regulate humidity. I just read in a thread not to get the kind with flower preservative in it . So I checked and sure enough it does will this ruin the coolerdor or the cigars?

You probably heard this before, but you'd really be better off getting some beads to regulate humidity. The foam doesn't really work all that well. The beads to a much better job of keeping the humidity stable.

I'm quite certain ye already drilled yer tupperware for the foam. So now fill it with beads and ye'll be doing way better.

I think I have a stack of florist foam humidifiers for cigars at home that came with various humidors over the years, I always switch out for the clear sludgy stuff, beads etc. If you want them I'll dig around when I get home and see what I got.

That foam with the scent will destroy your cigars buy the 65% beads from heartfelt. You'll need a pound for your 120qt cooler. If you can find one of those oust fans off of ebay pick it up and that way you can keep a small airflow in there to keep the humidity even.

No Don I haven't filled it yet but expecting some boxes for Christmas and though it would be good experience to set it up. I had an old cooler the misses wanted tossed so I said what the heck, I had empty boxes in it for a week and had it stabilized at about 66% I have removed the foam do you think it is ok to still reuse the boxes?

I had a letter into asking when the 65% will be back in stock and it sounds like this week maybe, next week for sure.
