So a girl at work has family in vegas and a Buddy of ours is there on vacation. Here are pictures of a schoolyard and park about 10 miles from the strip and a picture of the pool area at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel today at about 3:30 pm. I guess hell has frozen over.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ya that is some crazy shit. openendstraight posted some pics of his house yesterday and he had it all over his pool area. A friend from down there sent us a picture from Henderson with about 3" on the cars. Messed up. That is almost more than I have at my place here.

CLOSED! How much snow did y'all get? I drove 40 minutes last night in 6" of snow to a poker game. Hell, a couple inches is nothing...just drive a little slower and stop a little sooner.
While that's normal for some of us only an inch in Vegas I'm sure causes people to lose their minds. God I wish I owned a body shop out there! Often times when I vehicle shop I check ground clearance to make sure I can easily get out of being plowed in because I HATE shoveling and I HATE shoveling plowed snow even more.
I know what you are saying Wade, it is more or less the same situation for us here.
The problem with snow in Vegas is that they have absolutely no snow removal equipment. So then people drive on it and the pack it down and then it turns to ice which is worse. I really can't believe I missed it. WOuld have been funny yo see.
My girlfriend got a call from a friend down there yesterday asking how she was supposed to drive in the snow. I guess if oyu have never had to be in that situation then you just don't know.
I am sure the roads are slick as hell, the roads get slick when it rains down there due to it never really raining.
