Damnit, Freakin' Garmin!

So I finally broke down and went to purchase the updated map to my Garmin c550 that I bought in Feb, 2007. I find my update, log into my account, select the downloadable version as it'd be quicker than having them send me the CD, pay the damn $70 and I get no download! Support isn't open till tomorrow damnit!

I called and the nice young lady said that the order never went through. She also said it's like a three hour download so I'm just gonna go get the disc at Wal-Mart or Radio Shack. Damnit, but then I gotta pay tax! :headroll:

I hate paying tax on things too. I mostly go up to NH they have no sales tax.

I was able to download the update to my laptop, but it would let me install it. So I had to to xfer it to my SD then install it from my dell mini9..
