well, since you asked. My name comes from the revolutionary war, Francis Marion was a colonel in South Carolina. He used guerrilla tactics to constantly harass the British. After small skirmishes he would retreat to the swamps of the low country of SC. since im a big history nerd, ive used the user name for awhile. Oh and if your wondering, yes the movie " The Patriot" was based off of Marion, though very inaccurate.

It's been said many times, but never with more sincerity, you could not have picked a nicer forum to cut your teeth on. BOTL is not just the most friendly cigar forum I've ever been on, but the nicest most caring, compassionate fun group of guys forum I've ever been on period. No flame wars here, no "im a FOG and you're a NOOB so you need to respect me" attitude (my apologies to those of you who know what I'm talking about.) This is a great site man, lots to learn, and we've as far as I know have never taken the holier than thou "read more post less" attitude here, hell, you're a member, just like the rest of us. JOIN IN AND HAVE FUN!
I'm not sure why I used that name. Just made something up. Maybe skeered to use my real name. I didn't expect to be around, reading and spending time around this forum a year later. I just stopped by to learn a little bit, guess I'm still learning stuff. It is one of the most friendly forums to be found. I read in a couple others that can get pretty dang rude. I don't post all that much, I read here everyday just to catch up. Good Eve. s/botl's.

I "smear" thing's fast and easy. I'm a pro at smearing and well... there was this time in NY, we went out to a restaurat for breakfast and my uncle noticed that i only smeared my bread once with a perfect amount of cream cheese and well he started calling me "shmear" from there i get a few more nick names like "shmeaggle" like smeaggle... etc.
