Well I share a house so they keep the heat up. I moved it to a better spot. I'm kinda limited on the room situation. I'm a little over 70 now. I think maybe with a little time in its new spot will cool it off?
You'll be fine...if it's just a little over, no problem...don't sweat the little bumps in temperature or it settling a little over 70...it's not going to hurt a thing. When I first got into cigars, I obsessed over this issue, too...

enjoy the smokes!

I got it to a better spot. Now I'm a little under where I want to be in the humidity. I think that may be because of my hummis size & that I don't have a whole lot of sticks in it. Oh well, guess I'd better get on that.

Well, don't worry about that a lot either, it will tend to swing a little, especially when opened often...just in the neighborhood is close...

Hardcore, if you want to help your humidity to stay more steady, go to your local B&M and next time you buy a couple sticks, ask if they have any cedar blocks they either willing to get rid of or sell. I do that in my desktop. Take the blocks sand them a little and then rinse them and wipe them down with distilled water, add them to your desktop. This takes up the open space in your humi and will keep your humidity more stable. As your humi fills remove some of the cedar blocks. Works great for me.

I'll do that thanks. If anyone here has any cedar blocks. Please let me know as well.

I might have a few kicking around. - Great suggestion Donk.

It really just boils down to whether or not you store your cigars with or without cello.

I'm just messing with yeh!

Your temp should be just fine - I compensate a little bit with the humidity, just because it takes all of about two minutes for my hygrometer to drop to 30% when I open the box at this time of year. But I keep mine around 67/68%. If the temp is about the same I'm happy. In the summer, it's easy to let the humidity & temperature raise too much in our region. That's why a lot of guys invest in a wine-cooler instead of a typical humidor. search for winedor or vinotemp... The wine cooler can easily be outfitted to store cigars in perfect environment due to the thermo-cooled unit which does not remove humidity. (As apposed to a mini-fridge.)
