Yeah, I have been using a mug and drinking some of the sampler that someone sent to me in secret! Oh by the way, someone in Northern California needs to watch his six for a guided missile. hehe.

hey wade, you were asking about the filter, any ways I have one in my coffee pot, love it. Have never gone back to a paper filter since. French presses are nice for weekends and evenings. But when you are headed out for work in the mornings the metal filter is the way to go. They should fit in your coffee pot, mine is in a MR. Coffee, coffee maker.

WELL, no, hahaha, but I am a sucker for espresso. first I had a Saecco for about 5 years and then when I re-did my kitchen, I just calculated it in. figured if I do most of the work myself, I deserve a nice coffee maker.

I spend about $14 every day at starbucks and I thought i'd safe some money.
well I didn't because I still love having cappuccino at work while I cut hair.
but since I put that machine in about 3 1/2 years ago, I let out about 5000!!!!!
shots of espresso.

some people might say I am a bit on the hyper side:halfgrinw

Don't forget Wisconsin!
We gave BlackDOg gift sets with two mugs and four bags of cofffee to all my brothers and in-laws. Everyone seemed pretty happy and my brother in Seattle says it is some of the best he has ever had.

Referring to the gold filter. I have been using this for at least 15 years in brewers.
When I started reading this thread I had been a paper filter user for more years than I would like to admit to. I saw one of the metal filters at Walmart of all places,,,less than $5 for my 10 cup maker.
