When I go I rarely gamble if I do its at a bar on the floor playing video poker in the bar top. No need to wait for the cocktail lady. You can pick out your own top shelf stuff and enjoy.
My goal for going to Vegas is to chill by the pool, eat and do a little shopping. There is a Tommy Bahama outlet at this big outlet mall about 30 miles south.
If you have time visit Red Rock NWP. Nice over looks to hang out and smoke a stick.
I also recommend you not waste time at the buffets fighting the herd. You can have an awesome sit down dinner for a few dollars more at many fine places.

Heads up. Casa Fuente doesn't have any problem if you sit and smoke your own as long as you purchase drinks. Came from there in November. Happy hour M-Th from 4-7 pm. $5 beers and discounts on well drinks. I went in 3 times over a week and only bought one to smoke there and 3 to go as I was leaving the last day. But I probably smoked 6-7 of my own and purchased a few beers. Couldn't tell you much more than you have already heard. Just have fun.

I was working before, but now that I am retired (Iprefer to look at it that way for now), I have a lot more time. From April 3rd to the 22nd I will be in Asia with my wife.

Looks like I will be able to meet up this time.
