Man. One of my favorite big cigars. You just have to have the time and the right year. I hear Punch is back?...
I love this cigar from the Punch marca. While people usually think of the Punch Punch, the Doble Corona is for me what should be their flag. Gorgeous construction, great, even burn and the flavours in this...quite different from the Partagas I usually have, yet it always makes me smile. When young (the cigar) I thought that they were very...blah. But with a tad of aging, like it usually happens with CCs, this cigar becomes better and better. Too bad it was me last one :sadstare:

Now, off to get more!

What's in your wallet?

That's awesome! lol

Today was a balmy 5 degrees, or about -15 with windchill. I had to spend some time in the garage and yard picking up residue from a windstorm...my ears still hurt!

But I did enjoy a little CAO Criollo Pampa from 2004. These things get SO BUTTERY with a few years of age. The fresh Criollos are kinda spicy (though I'd still call it mild bodied, maybe close to medium), but these older ones add a great buttery smooth component that's just great.

Nice satisfying little cigar :smokingme
