Has anyone seen or heard of these? So there I was. another day at the office, out in the smoking area getting ready for our 1500 herf when out comes the Public Affairs sergeant major (and fellow BOTL) with a small, dark, rectangular box, about the size of a 50-75 stick humidor. As he walks up to us outside prepping our cigars, he holds this strange box in front of him so we could all get a good look. He was holding in his hands an actual Tupperware container made specifically for cigar storage.

It's 100% molded plastic, with one tray that lifts out and has holes all along the bottom. It comes with dividers that have pegs that fit in those little tray holes, and there's a small round plastic puck humidifier with a sponge in it for humidification. I'm trying to remember the colors of everything, and I want to say that it was dark blue with a black lid and light gray tray/dividers. It was a pretty slick lil piece! I've looked for it all over online and could not find this thing, and I asked the SGM later on what the deal was. He said that Tupperware is handing them out to members of the military before releasing it commercially.

I asked him to get some pictures of it so I could share with you all, and I'll check back with him when I go back to work on Monday to find out of he took some.

I want like five of them!! :)

would be interesting to see.

i always have liked tupperware and igloos that have been customized with spanish cedar trays and walls.

a woodworking friend of mine lined an igloo with spanish cedar, and installed spanish cedar shelves. He used no screws, glue, or velcro. Everything just slid into place and kind of locked into each other. it was a damned nice humidor.
