Hello and welcome from sunny so. cal.

I would recommend the Tat Angeles and Noellas. Both small smokes with a lot of flavor so you can get the enjoyment, but still get back to your family.

Bill,

You left out the details:

Where in CA do you live?
What/where do you teach?
Are you just out of college, about to retire, or in-between?

Hey everyone,

Thanks for making a new guy feel welcome. I appreciate all the feedback on the Tats, the newbie sampler, and just trying new cigars (this is actually my favorite aspect of cigars). I'll have to check out the newbie sampler when I have the chance.

I too was once a So Cal guy, grew up in Simi Valley, but now live in Fresno. To answer a couple of the other questions I saw: Yes, we teachers do like to party, but that has definitely changed for me over the last year; I teach 6th grade (elementary here still); and I'm 34, so nowhere close to retiring, and 12 years out of college.

Welcome and thanks for the info. And props to you and anyone who becomes a teacher -- underpaid, overworked, and I can't imagine keeping a roomful of kids under control.
