Now that you're here, i need some help deciding what to do...

I've got a free weekend coming up in about 3 weeks. The wife is leaving with the kid on Friday am and returning on SUndaypm.

I don't quite know what i should do with myself.

Right now i'm torn between 3 things.

1) Stay home and enjoy the house to myself. smoke a couple cigars in teh basement, probably go to bed early after i acquire a nice buzz. nothing exciting

2) Go to the cabin by myself. enjoy some quality time away from civilization...time has a way of standing still when down there. smoke a lot of cigars, as many as i want. get a healthy buzz on , walk around in the woods, shoot some guns at random targets, sit by the fire, probably go to bed well before i would if i knew what time it was. do it all again the next day.

3) Hang at the house and maybe go spend an afternoon or evening up at new havana shootin the breeze with dan the man I'd smoke several ciagrs during that time, catch up on the cigar world that i care about...Pete, Dion, Pepin, et al.

I"m open to other suggestions as well. what yo uguys think i should do? what woudl you do?

id say bring a few friends up to your cabin. bring the 3 essentials guns, booze, and cigars. infact i did that just last weekend and had a hell of a time

i suppose i should have stated that the weekend before (next weekend) is our annual boys winter poker weekend at the cabin. so

2 weekends in a row is out for the rest of the boys.

it'd just be me.

I'd go to the cabin and get away. I'm heading to the Adirondacks myself in early February, the in-laws have a cabin up there.

#2 and I wouldn't think twice about it. I'm dieing to get back up into the mountains. It's too cold with too much snow for me right now but it is so relaxing to sit in the forest, away from civilization, and enjoy some good smokes. Man I can't wait for Summer!
