You can also use the hot water method. It is a quicker method. But be careful not to warp your humi.

Wiped down with distilled h2o one time. Did a steam bath of hot distilled h20 a second time and now tonight did a real wet wipe down again.
that should be enough don't you think
You did what?????? Dude read the Fuente ads. Time. Cigars take time and patience. The whole hobby takes time. A shot glass of water, close and wait. Some times days. Wait, the wood will absorb the water. If you want put in two and a sponge. Forcing the issue is like cutting corners on anything. The results can be painful.

Thanks Chuck. UR right. Its a 100ct box and will probably take time to do its thing. I did follow the suggestions on the site this time along with the suggestion from my local shop. Thanks for the input.

I agree with Chuck this is the only way to do it I usually season my humidors for around 5 days with the shot glass then I'll hydrate the puck/beads and toss them in there with the shot glass for another couple of days just to be on the safe side. This usually results in the humi giving a much higher RH reading that you'd like but it seems to settle down into the ideal range once you fill it up.
