I had a 2008 Opus X Love Story I figured it was the right cigar for today, told my wife what it was, and even she said it was a good choice. Speaking of Opus X, has anyone ever had an Opus X LFMF? If so how was it? I have a chance to pick up one, but he wants $75 for it.

Why on earth would someone spend 75 bucks on an Opus? MAYBE I would spend that much on a Cuban Davidoff, even for that price doubt I would get one. Call me cheap or frugal but I look for value in the sticks and avoid the outrageous priced ones.

Second smoke was a Tatuaje Almirantes. It had a really tight draw (the first Tatuaje with a bad draw I have had), so I used the poker I was gifted, and it opended up the draw. It turned out to be a great smoke.

If I enjoy the smoke I have no problem paying, but I have never had one, and just wanted to know if someone has. Like the BBMF Maduro, I have no problem paying $100 for one because I love the stick. It is not something I would do all the time, but once in a while why not.

Cigars and golf are the only vices I have right now.

It was cold tonight, so I just had an RP Vintage '92 Perfecto. What an AMAZING amount of smoke for such a little cigar! Tasted like the "big" sticks, about 7 months of age--the pre-light stick smelled a little like a barn or an old sock, lol.

I'd only pay that much for a single cigar to mark a very special occasion...like a child's birth or wedding maybe.

I paid $1.40 for the cigar I had tonight and enjoyed it, lol.
