exactly alfonso, put some sp. cedar in there to help regulate, some humidification device, and your smokes.. i love the wineador idea to help with temperature too, which in my opinion makes it better than a cooledor (although its much more expensive).

From my understanding there is a difference between active and passive. Passive being beads, humdipaks, pucks, etc.
oh yes yes, sorry. i passed over the active part of that. what the others said will work. especially being the smaller 12 bottle cooler you probably won't need anything active.

Josh I have the Vino 28 and 1 lb of beads has never failed me about 6 months now and have never looked back. I keep it unpluged the oust fan does the work. In the summer July August Sept it gets turned on and set at highest temp 66 and runs very little and still keeps 65rh

I'm picking up my 28 bottle in a couple of weeks. I like that it controls the temp. It's has a fan with a timer & spanish ceder shelves. For humidity it has a cigar oasis. I also have a pound of 65% heartfelt beads that I'll be putting in it as well. The temp is controlled by an external temp controller. This was by no means a cheap set up. I got a steal on a used one from a bro. on the board. If you are woried about your temp getting to high in the coming months get a wine cooler.
