I have only had the opportunity to try some of the darker wrappers and liked them. I know that there are mixed reviews...but I thought that they were some pretty tasty smokes.

Is it just me...or do they seem to have a new blend release like once every couple weeks? I always seem to come across new releases and deals on CI and famous...I have a hard time keeping up with them

there are always deals on them because i think the retailers know they are WAY overpriced and are always offering deals on them to move them off the shelf. they are overhyped imho, but a decent smoke if you can get them cheap enough.

I was wondering about that...because I do not know a lot about the lines. I just know that my B&M only carries one line (I think it is the grand reserve...glass tube with wax seal) and they want $20 a smoke. Seems pricey with the deals that you see. Plus like I said...I am not too familiar with the line and only spend that much on something that I have a good idea that I am going to like. Has anyone tried this smoke? Do you think it is worth the price tag?

i agree...One of my favs are the Genghis kahn...cant really get them anymore...they are very limited (or so they say)...The vintage (shaggys) are pretty good too, but they have a tendency to produce a new line every 13.5 minutes...kind of like Rocky P!

I think that there is to much flash with their product weather it be a cool box or a tube or a huge band. I try to stay away from them as much as possible. I have tried a few but only one has caught my eye, the Master select perfecto. But that is just my opinion.
Something about a really fancy band or box that just makes me want to stay away. Its almost like look at me, I might not taste good, but I sure look pretty...
See most of Pete's lines, the cigar speaks for itself without the fancy band.
I've smoked a few, but never got to big into them. I only have one right now. The Crest. One of the guys at CI traded it to me. He told me it had an msrp of $40 & it was a great smoke. I've never even seen it on the shelf. Does anyone know anything about this one?
