Wine Coolers which one to choose ?

Looking to build a wine cooler and I'am not sure which model or brand to buy I see alot of talk about the Vinotemp and Avanti on here. Would like so help from some of the guys that have wine coolers. Or someone that just knows about them.

Stick to the thermoelectric one's and do some searches here. There are many, many threads on this subject. Search for Avanti, wine cooler, and Vinotemp for starters.

Well i have looked at the Avanti and the Vinotemp ,which seen to be the two biggest names that keep coming up on here have found other brands cheaper just want something that has been used by other people that may be able to give feed back on there unit as far as good and bad with that unit. I know that is asking alot but hey dont know until u ask.

I have a vinotemp. So far everything is good to go. Defiantly a thermoelectric one.

I know a number of guys are using the 28 bottle Edgestar. Which ever brand you go with, just make sure it has a thermoelectric cooler, rather then a compressor style.

Whats the disadvantages to the compressor type cooler? FNG here and trying to get educated? Thanks

i believe it's because the compressor is louder, tends to shake the contents a little more than the thermo ones, and, i THINK, sucks more moisture from the cigars than the thermo ones. someone will correct me if im wrong tho.
