Some of my guys found a unit that was getting rid of these cases, these are not cheap. So of course me and my guys (yes were grunts) raided their dumpster, most used them for their laptops or whatever other techno-phelia they felt needed protecting in the the dense moldable foam. Me, haha I had other ideas...:thinkidea

I made a humidor out of a pelican case too, I just didn't utilize foam. Hell I used a 20mm ammo can as well while I was there because the Pelican case got full. Those OPFTH.org guys blasted us while I was there.

That's some nice work! Great case there! Get those Acids out of there. Store them separate.

I Second that on the Acid and if you can swap in open cell foam you'll get much better humidity regulation in there.

Very cool, I hooked up on one of those that used to have a PVS-4 in it back in my day. Should have kept it, can't remeber what happened to it.

The acid tin is just the tin no sticks, it fits well and I like the design on it so its purely aestitic and gives another place to hold sticks, just like the Cuesta ray box in the bottom. The foam is deffinetly not open cell, but it can be cut and adjusted and provides a firm base for the boxes. I am going to check our sponsors though and see if the offer any of the open cell foam that comes with the cigar grooves, if i can find this in sheets that i can trim and customize, it will open up alot more options, until then this is my buisness box for the trips my other humi cant handle! :riflefire

As for the box, I think it was used for PAS-13's, and I cant find a hundred but I know of several more.......
