Obama Just landed

Pretty cool, we just watched Marine One and the two other choppers that look just like it land at the OC fairgrounds. They were escorted by fighter planes over the coast, and 2 balckhawk gunships that also landed at the fairgronds. They have closed a bunch of streets around the area, so th 55 fwy is at a standstill. Anyway I may not have voted for the guy but the office deserves respect. A guy here has a badass camera and took about 400 pictures. He's going to email the best of them tomorw and I'll post.

I watched a couple of shows on the Discovery Channel a couple of weeks ago about Air Force One and Marine One. Very cool!

This was me trying to look official. I drove as a volunteer in a motorcade for W when he visited West Palm Beach about 4 years ago. Drove a white van with mainly press people in it. Kinda cool experience though.

That's a lot closer than we were, we watched from our office buidling. We saw Air Force one fly by, and land a Long beach, then We were watching the live news feed on line, and new which direction he was coming from. It was cool seeing all these choppers fly in and land in the same feild were i eat fried twinkies and Krispy Jreme hamburges every summer. God i love the fair.

We weren't really allowed cameras when working but...... I got to babysit at the ranch for W during thanksgiving in 2005 and I actually got to step onto Marine One on that trip. I had the take my shoes off at the door though. If you guys ever get to herf with me I could tell you some stories not crazy or real interesting (at least if you ask me), but slightly entertaining none the less.

Military EOD works with the USSS. Then because it was a holiday and I had no family I volunteered for the duty.
