Greetings friends,

I would like to humbly introduce myself. My name is Brandon, I was born and raised under the 'Zion Curtain'(Salt Lake City). I have been lurking here for quite awhile, I finally decided to come out of the humidor and say hello.

I have only recently taken up the wonderful addiction which is cigar smoking, I hope to continue to develop my palate, to learn and try many new things under the stewardship of the BOTL.

SLC has all of about one good cigar shop, in the form on a Tinder Box, so it can be difficult at times to try something new. This a really big discouragement in ordering online in such large quantities without being able to sample first.

Kindest regards,
Brandon

welcome brandon. this is a great place to learn and get some ideas as to what to try. what have you tried thus far?
Quite a few things..
Padron K series maduro's I really like. Those seem to really match me.

Alec Bradley Tempus, those were really nice.

A few DPGs, I enjoy JJ the most!

A few Davidoffs, didn't really care for.

Few OpusX/Casa Fuente @ Casa Fuente in LV, were ok, but I didn't find them very complex just overpowering, very spendy compared to the enjoyment level.

I did have one ahh LG chisel, it was really, really good.

I had a few CCs in Mexico years and years ago, I don't even know if they were the real thing, didn't find them appealing. But perhaps my tastes have matured, I was in my early twenties, didn't even care for wine at the time. Now I am crazy for it.

Sancho Panza double maduros are really tasty.

Tatuajes are very nice, but very hard to find.

I think I would have to say my favorite smoke right now is the Padron 2k/3k maduros.

Kindest regards and thanks for the warm welcome,
Brandon

Welcome aboard from a fellow Utahn. Tuffy and I get together regularly for sticks, you will have to join us. Shoot me a PM with where abouts the valley you are and what not.

Enjoy it here, there is a lot of great info.

Thank you all again so, so very much.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can get involved on the board from here on out?
I feel a little overwhelmed with all the knowledge on this board. I've been reading and absorbing all I can. I hope as more experience comes my way, I am able to give back.
