in Minnesota that is. Awesome day here today (for Minnesota and mid-March especially), sunny and in the 50's. I think this is the earliest the course I normally play has opened since I've lived here (about 12 years). The course was in better shape than I thought it would be this early too. There's something about playing when you aren't normally able to that I just love...early in the year, late in the year, mid-week, etc....bonus golf.

I ended up shooting five over, which I'm thrilled with this early in the season! Time to celebrate with a Tat Hermosos.

Golf season is on...life just got a little better....

Nice way to start the season. I'm going to play my first round up North on Monday at a new course near Townsend, DE (Odessa National). I probably won't shoot +5 but it should be a good round nonetheless.

Good round! Especially for first time out! Yeah...I went out and hit a large bucket for the first time this year three days ago and pretty much feel like I pulled every muscle in my upper body. Still can't wait to hit the coarse!

Ha! Nice one Gale. And actually, that may be what happens when I play tomorrow. Golf can be "fun" like that...

Moved my clubs from the basement to the garage today, .and gave them a good cleaning. Looking forward to getting out this year. Haven't golfed since July of last year, separated my shoulder while coming out of the rough on the first hole.

My second round of the year today with all new clubs(except 3 wedges), shot a 103 with a 13 on a par 5. Ground completely saturated from a steady week of rain and 40-50 degree temperatures. My handicap has shot up from an 11 the last 6 months....:help:

Now that I can relate to, minus the new clubs and terrible conditions.
