Hey guys. I have a laptop with a broken 'Enter' key. Is there any simple way to reprogram my keyboard so that another key can be substituted for it? *Damn!...I can't start a new paragraph!* BTW, I am running Windows. Thanks in advance for any help.

lol. I know there's a way to reprogram your keys, but I'm sure whoever knows will need to know what Windows or OS your system is running.

Ah! A manly excuse! I'd love to help; but I'm in a similar situation if that's the case (I'm sorry for takingadvantage of yer thread for this, Greg). Anyone knows how to scroll a whole linee of keys? As in, me keyboard types the z when I press the x key, the x when I press the c key, the c when I press the v key,... plus, due to that I'm missimg the key that types the "more than" and "less than" symbols (like a rotated "v"). It happened due to rum (just a wee tad and I dried it quickly and used pressurized air after). It's a Windows Vista Dell Vostro 1510.

You should not be using your glass to type.
:bottle: What's messed up is that every other key surrounding it works fine. I tried keytweak, which is a program designed to reprogram your keyboard, but it doesn't work for me. I think it has something to do with having a laptop vs. a USB-fed keyboard.

Just get a wirelss key board and let the laptop dry for a day or two....may have gid rid of the whiskey residue. That may be why the keyis sticking and not working.....that stuf is like glue when it dries.
