New Computer Virus Hits At Midnight

At midnight tonight the Conficker virus is going to activate. I don't think they have a way to combat this deadly virus. I myself will not be online at all tomorrow to try & protect myself. That way it may give them a jump on fixing it. Keep all your updates current.

Probably more often then we may know, but from what I've read about this one the difference is that the Conficker is on a VERY large scale and what it will actually do remains a mystery. scary stuff! I try to keep my windows and AVG as up to date as I can but I can't help but worry that the little bastard still broke through my security.

I do have one theory which in all likelihood is false but I can still hope. Perhaps this virus is in itself an elaborate April Fools day joke that does absolutely nothing to computers. Though unlikely it would definitely go down as the biggest April Fools prank every pulled off...

I did this too, my computer seems to be working fine right now.

I did it back in October when there was the initial scare. I updated my antivirus last night before bed & this morning as well.
