I'm getting married in 9 weeks and need some ideas on groomsmen gifts. I know the guys don't want flasks or cufflinks so that's out.

Some ideas I had:

-Beer of the month club: anyone ever tried one of these? Are some better than others?
-Personalized Beer Steins
-Personalized pocket knives

Any more ideas?

I received a very nice bucknife from 1 of my best buds whos wedding I was in. Its a rugged type. The blade was engraved with the date of the wedding. It was a great gift cause I use at work on my truckmans belt and it may one day say my life!

I got married in November and I did a CRKT Guppie multi-tool, and a Palio silver cutter. I had to get them something cigar related and I know the multi-tools were a hit. My original idea was to get a small travel humidor and a Palio cutter then throw in some cigars from my collection.

I'm sure beer of the month club would be sweet.

I was thinking of doing the beer club with something like this:

Has anyone had experience with a beer club?

I still like the knife idea mostly because it's an excuse to buy some more knives for myself, which is another slope in and of itself. I doubt that my groomsmen will find any use for knives as they already wonder why I even have any, lol.

Do they all smoke cigars/drink beer? I don't know what CRKT is but it reminded me that a Leatherman-type tool would be nice (personalized if possible). Also good would be a (faux)leather-covered clipboard or similar for desk-types.

We definitely all drink, especially beer. But I'm the only one who smokes and likes knives. CRKT stands for Columbia River knives and tools, and they have some good products. A multi-tool is a good idea and I know they'd use it.

So many good ideas here. The thing is you know your guys better than anyone here. So take one of the ideas and run with it. I'am sure they will like it. I think something that they can use a long time is really nice.
