Homemade(ish) Herf-a-Dor

So thought I would share my "homemade' herf-a-dor.

I started with a Pelican Case 1120.



Used some foam from a broken herf-a-dor from a B&M. This provided cigar support for 2 layers. I can hold 8 cigars with the foam and about 18 with out..:D



I got one of the HeartFelt Industries tube of 65% beads:

and a humidity sheet:

I cut the humidity sheet to size for the bottom... and filled the tube at 60-70%

works great so far... perfect for motorcycling/camping/travel/herf-ing... etc...

Good job, it looks pretty good but IMO I would never leave my smokes in there without the foam.

yeah.. mainly if they are cello wrapped or camping and I need a bunch... also working on a larger one that is a Pelican 1400...

wish I could find a manufacturer for the "wave" foam that I am using.. would like to order more...

I have one of these that already is set-up for stogies! A team I managed several years ago purchased it for me. It came with a gauge, puck and all. they even filled it with sticks!
