When I called a local business that could have ordered material, the minimum order size would have been enough to make 100 humidors. I ended up getting mine from a dealer on Ebay.

The boards I bought were over 1 1/2 inches thick, so they needed to be cut, milled, and planed. The cedar trays that fit in my coolidor are 1/2 inches thick. I guess that's a long way of saying if you order on line, be sure you can use the pieces you ordered.

I bet some others here can point you to a dealer that sells spanish cedar in more workable sizes.

JF I have no idea how I would make a shelf with used boxes. I am making a drawer for the avanti. I would like one drawer with three dividers.

Since many boxes are the same thickness guys have used these. They take either a table saw and rip these same thickness pieces then join them all together. I believe 1 of the wine o dor botls have a pic on here from a few months back. Look in the search of wine o dors or storage and it should be there.

Rockler.com sells spanish cedar veneer boards which they say can be used in a humidor. They also sell random sizes of spanish cedar boards but none that I have found were big enough for the base of a shelf. I dont know the size you need but you can buy pre-made spanish cedar shelves online.

i made the drawers for my vinotemp. i found some spanish cedar at a local woodworking shop. they didn't have any wide enough for the base so i had to use two 6" wide pieces glued together. worked out pretty well i think. the cigars aren't heavy enough to put enough pressure on the seam to crack it. and the sides hold the two pieces together also. it was pretty expensive if i remember right... 6 bucks a linear foot i think? i had to get it planned too, which cost me another 15-20 bucks. i would do a google search for wood workers or wood sales places near you and just call them up. there is a brother here that'll make your drawer for you too, not sure you want to go that route tho.

There is a Brother on here that makes shelves and drawers to your specific needs. I believe his SN is Mtmouse. I think his profile has pics also.
