Had a chance to smoke this bad boy this weekend and boy does it pack a punch through the middle third. At a whopping 6x54, the MJ12 will take over as the big daddy size for the brand. I want to have a chance to smoke a few more before I give a full blow report, but if you like Illusione or big rig gauges this should be right up your alley.

Each stick is fully wrapped in foil

Trying to get it out:

Right before the light:

If you want to score a few... peep NHC.

NOTE: Sorry for crappy camera phone shots...

The classic Illusione flavor is there, but it is amped up (possibly due to ring gauge) a little in my mind. I will report more... or give my humble attempt as soon as I have the chance to sample a few more.

7x47 would have been more appropriate size....Truman created a special group called the "Majestic 12" (or MJ-12) in July 1947. Still, would like to pick one up to try....Dion makes some good cigars!

I wonder what the meaning of this vitola's name is.
Anybody know? Dion?
I'm almost 99.99% sure it's a reference to Truman's Majestic 12 project started in July 1947 for the spaceship crash in New Mexico.

That's why my post above yours was saying that the size would have been more appropriate if it was 7x47 ( July 1947 )

You are correct, Pete Johnson told us about this one on his most recent visit to Dallas. Looks tasty. The foil is supposedly based on the alien chasers out there thinking it protects them from the aliens.
