couple quick nosey questions for you guys (and gals). my collection consists of a vast majority of singles (i'd say a good 70%). is that the case with most? i know a few guys have more boxes of stuff they like and fewer singles. but with me, i seem to have a ton of them. for those with singles and bigger storage, say a wineador for instance, how do you store them? do you use drawers or use old boxes? i have two drawers for singles which are currently full. not sure if i want to buy more cedar and make another drawer for myself, or just buy some old boxes from my b&m and use those. now im just rambling...

thanks for reading!

the drawers seem the best way to go for the storage/space ratio you get from em (im thinking in terms of drawers like Mouse makes)

That's what I have in plan for the future. A wine cooler with some drawers and few boxes as possible.

yeah, i have two of them that i made (like mtmouse makes, but not as good, haha). just not sure i want to make another one or just buy some cedar boxes from my b&m and store them that way. i guess another drawer will prevent me from having to play tetris with a bunch of half-full boxes.

In my Avanti I have one drawer that is full. I also have some boxes that hold signals as well. Last week I made it a point to start smoking some of my singles because I don't want to start another singles box. I need to ease up on smoking from my box purchases for a bit. But with working crazy o.t. I only smoke 1-2 sticks a week now.

Thank you! Thank you for not asking about singles and the cello on or off issue. I worry about possible mingling of flavors so I keep the singles in a separate 100 count humidor and boxes in the coolidor. I'm probably just paranoid.

Boxes only in the Cabinet and several various count tabletops for the singles.

It takes a long time and the right conditions for cigars to marry. I wouldn't worry about it over the short term.

I keep empty boxes to consolidate partial boxes mostly to protect from wrapper damage and prevent any possible RH bounce issues when opening and closing the coolidors (as I often do in the dry winter and humid summer). I have three different size blank cedar boxes bought from Mark at Cigarmony for the same purpose. One cedar shelf for the odd lot or odd size sticks. Two large Tupperdor with lid off in the largest coolidor for even more overflow also trying to smoke through those.

I have 3 28 Bottle Vinos....one for NC singles (with trays), one for CC singles (with trays), and one for boxes...

I also have glass tops for all of my trays, as I am not sure if the fan (on timers) will dry them out or otherwise damage them, but I don't want to take any chances :)

Hope that helps!

I use old boxes for storage, but now I'm out of boxes...really need to get some more empties. Those that aren't in boxes right now are just in plastic bags (open) in my bins.

I have about 50% in cello cigars that I keep in a big rubbermaid with a paradigm hygrometer and they are at 65% humidity. The other 50% are in humidors with beads and are used to age cigars.

I have 2 trays in my 500 count humidor that I keep my singles in. Being that I only have 3 boxes, it's not too hard for me. I don't buy many boxes. Maybe 2 a year. Usually samplers, 5 packs, and 10 packs.

I'm to cheap for custom drawers for my wine cooler. I keep my singles in my desktop and then I keep spare boxes on hand if the humi gets to full they get put into a box and into the wine cooler.
