I am new to this forum but not so new to cigars. I've been out of the loop for a few years and have already found this site to be a great source of info. Thanks to everyone who contributes and I hope to add what knowledge I can. I love trying new things as well as revisiting old favorites.
I am also a very passionate bourbon and rye drinker.
I will see you online and, who knows, maybe even in person someday as I hope to attend events in and around Boston.

Thank you for the warm welcome. You guys are fast.
:welcome:
What are some of your favorite cigars?
What is our favorite bourbon's?
Some of the smokes I've been enjoying are La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero, Hemingway Short Story and Best Seller. My buddy turned me onto Rocky Patel and I have been liking the Decade and Sun Grown (I am actually waiting on a 5-pack of Sun Grown Torpedos off of cigarbid that shipped yesterday). I'm definitely moving more towards medium to full bodied sticks. I have a few highly regarded sticks that I plan on trying in the very near future that sound very promising: Tatuaje Porkchop, Alec Bradley Tempus,
and Fonseco Cubano Limitado.
I might fire up the Tempus tonight when I get home from work.

As far as bourbons go I have yet to be dissapointed by anything produced at Buffalo Trace. My favorite is probably the Van Winkle Reserve 12 year "lot b." I love their antique collection when I can find it, especially the Eagle Rare 17 and the Sazerac (rye) 18. I just put down a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch which was extremely nice at the price point. I also really like the W.L. Weller 12 year as a great value.
