So I Went Fishing Today

First time in 7 years I wet a line, damn I had fun. I caught a rock bass, three small mouth bass and three sunfish. Tossed them all back, can't wait to go again.

I love fishing. Though I usually just snap the neck, gut it and cook it.

I had a blast. I bought a pair of neoprene waders years ago, at least 7 years ago, they were still at Mom & Dads, got them, looked good, fit somewhat more snug but were still perfectly waterproof. I got into pools up to my chest, saw the sunset, watched a beaver swim 15 yards past me...man, that was a good time. No cell phones, no TV, no iPod, just water rushing, birds chirping and fish jumping.

Sounds cool! I'm going to go next week I think. There's a great pond with tons of fish right in my back yard (literally), but I just never get out there to fish for some reason--no, it's not the large "No Fishing Sign," lol, nobody pays attention to that.

sounds like an awsome time... anytime you catch anyfish you can call it a pretty good day.. all the lakes around my house skunk me everytime i go... i usually have to go to the bay to catch anything... fishings actually where i tried my first stick

Nothing beats red fish on the half shell IMO or if its a big mother make some ceviche out of it so good.
