Well I've drastically cut down the amount of cigars that I smoke. The job that I'm at now doesn't really give me any time to have a smoke during the week. On the weekends I usually only have one two max.
Last night I was over at BGC's house at the fire pit. I only had one. I took a bunch , but only smoked one stick.
I was thinking about giving it up totally, but I do enjoy a smoke still. So I'll still indulge in a smoke. I do enjoy my smokes a lot more now that I'm not smoking constantly. I know what I like & that's what I smoke.
Just figured I'd let you all know what's going on. I don't have as much time to be on here anymore & I just don't know if I'm feeling it anymore sometimes. Hope all of my friends here are all doing well. Smoke a good one guys. :ccowboy:

Good to hear from you, Joe! Glad to hear the job is going well.

As far as the stogies go--I think we've all experienced times where we feel like smoking a ton, times where we don't. Nothing wrong with that. For the next 10 months or so while I have more time to smoke, I'm hoping to burn 10 or more per week. After that when the next baby is born and I'm juggling 2 of the little buggers, I'll be lucky to burn 2 or 3 a week I'll bet.

And I'm with you--when I only have time for a couple smokes a week, you'd better believe they are going to be my favorites!

Understand where you're coming from man... I would like to smoke everyday, but I just don't have the time. The days where I do have time, I'll light up 2-3 in an evening and it tides me over until the next time!

I didn't mean to sound like I was down on the leaf at all. I love to smoke. Even more than that I love the people that smoke. The company is the best you could ask for. I've just been dealing with a bunch of stress & I think it's getting to me.
You're a a top BOTL in my book too bro!

I felt the same way when I was working on my thesis and getting ready to present at a conference. The time that is needed to sit back and enjoy is great but it does take a lot of time from stuff you can be doing. The next two weeks are crazy for me but after that I think I'm just going to kick back and smoke maybe one or two a week.

I hear that Joe. I have barely been on here at all just checkin for messages here and there. Now when I'm on the computer I'm typing quotes which is good. Then again all work no play makes Zach a dull boy but you gotta make hay when the sun is shining like my dad says and the sun has been shining. Now I'm trying to juggle multiple jobs and still spend time with the family and still try to fit in some me time.

Joe, Ive been going through a similar situation... my duties at work changed and Im now working 2pm till 11:30ish instead of 5:30am till 2:30ish. So my after work smokes have stopped and the temp outside is too hot to smoke in the car with the windows down on my way to work. So I am usually smoking about 1-3 a week instead of my 1 a day.... I do agree with you about enjoying smokes more now than ever before.... Do whagt you got to do, but dont be a stranger!

Way to go. One should always listen to their body. I try to listen to mine but all I ever hear is my stomach growling.
