Met the drummer for Green Day...

My son and I were flying back from the bay area after going to see my niece graduate from high school and Tre Cool and his daugher were on the same flight heading down to Disneyland for a few days. He was totally cool, no rock star attitude. Told him how Dookie disitegrated in my casset player from being played constantly. He said they got a gold casset from the record company for that one. Tre also said Green Day Rock Band coming out in a couple of months. Rock and Roll....

That must have been a great show! I saw them at the Hollywood Palladium about 10 years ago. Being a drummer myself it was pretty f-ing cool...

Very cool shit bro! Green day is one of my favorite bands! Went to see them live when they were opening for blink (bass ackwards in my opinion) and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to! Great story...nice work!

That is pretty cool!

Green Day does have some music coming to Rock Band, finally! Three songs from their latest album hit on July 7th with many others hinted at and rumored at. This is the second time a member of the band used the term "Green Day Rock Band" though. I wonder if the future tracks will be issued on a stand alone disc, like AC/DC was, that will be importable into the main Rock Band 2 game. Interesting.
