I think me laptop just caught a strange virus...

It suddenly starts laughing like the laugh in Michael Jackson's Thriller. Though I do not visit many sites; those I do are always green in me little Website of Trust program (ye review sites and everyones review is gathered to grade each site); I do not download music and check this thing for virus about twice a month. A scan says nothing about a virus, but it laughs! Nothing else though, and it's funny to own a possessed computer...

I don't. MSN in bloody rare occasions and there's Skype with the alerts disabled.

I'd suggest going to symantec.com and searching for the virus under keywords like 'laughing' etc. They have full instructions on how to delete it. Also make sure your anti-virus/spyware is set to automatically update.
Sometimes if you're not getting the updates, it misses viruses etc.
