Vacation Galena IL Balloon Race Weekend (Pic Heavy)

At the Eagle Ridge resort this weekend in Galena IL. Didn't bring the golf clubs but tonight the fired up the balloons right before dark with a live band. The weather been shit till tonight but like magic it cleared up a hour before. Live band, PSD4(07 smoking great right now) and a few beers man was tonight great! I'll post a few when I get home on Monday.

A PSD4 I was smoking while watching the ballons get "fired" up. I didnt even know she took the pic.

Well today I found out they have a Wi fi signal even in the home were staying in about 1.5 miles from the inn.(Unbelieveable) Right now Im smoking m y 1st padron 40th it may be 1 of the best gars ive ever had. (from my shop owner for his new baby on Fri) I bit the end and its still smoking like a champ. The balloons tonight were out of this world. Megan I got a pic of a Monkey balloon that I think you will love.(artsie) And the misses snapped a ton of pics Ill load tommorrow around 5 or 6 pm. One of the greatest weekends I can remember. We even found a house for sale that is actually priced right for todays markets. I think were going to come back and put a offer in on it for the long run. The owners gave us a walk thru on it and it was absolutely meticulous. Everything stays and upgrades thru the yin yang. I think its one of those dumb luck kind of things.

Great pics man!! The last balloon show I've been to, was right after 9-11. They would not let them go in the air at all... The night shots when they fire up the balloons are great.
