I decided to start the day off with something more on the milder side....

CAO L'Anniveraire Maduro - from 1996 and the last time the cigar was made in Costa Rica.

I had two cigars that I never had before. I started out with my first WOAM as I thought about my grandfather. I thought it was a good smoke as it was on the medium side and smooth.

My second smoke was a Graycliff Blue Labe Profesionale corona. I bought this in January when I went to Graycliff Hotel and saw them being rolled. It was the cruise that me and my wife were on and got married Half Moon Cay island. As I smoked this cigar I was reflecting on watching the cigars being rolled and the great time I had with my wife. I don't know if I liked the cigar that much as I liked that it was full flavored but had a somewhat grassy flavor to me. I have a fiver of the Crystal corona's resting in my coolidor and hopefully I will like them better.

I plan on smoking a Graycliff every year on our anniversary.

Hope everybody has a great fathers day.

Avo LE05... Yup. What an incredible stick. Really similar to the Companero, but not quite as ass-kicking. Picked up some coconut too - perfectly balanced. It was such a pleasure to smoke.

Finished the evening with a My Father robusto... It's been a while, because I just didn't have the taste for them, but then I traded a Tat Black to a good friend for it... Honestly, it damn near kicked my butt. Truly a great stick.

A very good day spent with good company, food, smokes.
