After thinking about it for a while now my decission was made for me today. This afternoon my three year old Motorola Razor stopped working. I took it out to the car and plugged it in to the charger to see if the battery was dead. From there it wouldn't do anything. I left it plugged in to the charger on the way home from work, and after stopping at the store when I started the car "Charging Battery" came up on the screen. So I half openned it and powered it up. The phone came on but once I opened the phone again it went blank.

After taking it apart several times and powering it up I found I could partially open it and use it long enough to transfer the numbers over to my SIM card. I then headed up to the store and browsed phones. Let me tell you, I am the worst person in the world to be doing that because I never know what I want. So I avoid the salespeople for the first 30 minutes I am there, then started asking questions. After I asked all the necessary questions and weighed all the pros and cons, I made my decission...

Now I'll probably spend most of the evening playing with my new toy. Any one got any tips or suggestions for me??

I've got a suggestion:

Take it back and get an iPhone!! :headroll:

Just kidding man! Congrats on the new phone!
I figured that was coming :glassesgr, I am on t-mobile and had to go through them. I stayed away from touch screens mainly because I keep the phone in my pocket and was worried I'd end up damaging the screen, plus my fat fingers were struggling with the touch screen keyboards.

LOL... No need to justify man. You made a great purchase. Everybody has their own opinions on phones, very much like cigars!

One of my accounts at work services the ATT version of that Blackberry. You should be pretty happy with the device.

I use the Storm myself. Enjoy your new phone!

Here you go Larry! It's called a "Jitterbug". It's basically a cell phone for old guys!! It's got big numbers and an easy to read screen!

Nothing wrong with my eyes....as long as I've owned a cell phone, I have never used the camera in, don't go to the web, don't text or play games on it....and no, I don't want no darn Jitterbug my friend!

Me too, a phone is supposed to be a phone!! If I wanted to listen to music I'd just turn on my transistor radio.

I went for years thinking that too, then two phones ago I got a motorola A630.

It spoiled me with the full keyboard. After that phone died I went back to the "I just need a regular phone" school of thought and got the Razor. I did miss having the full keyboard the most, but in looking now I just didn't care for the regular phones they had plus I needed something that would allow me to keep tabs on a website I am involved with. The rate plan went up a bit with the BB service but they also gave me money back on my bill because I had been out of a contract for so many years.

Sure, it is probably more than I need, but I also have a humidor or three that is that way too!!
