I have no problem with my humis...they stay at 65%.
The temp can range in the summer climbing once in a while to 72F.
Some tell me that this is a bit hight but not to worry if this is as high as it gets.
Am I OK or is the keeping below 70 really crucial?

72 shouldnt be much of a problem at all. the real problem is when you get to 76+

...especially if your RH is higher. then you are asking for beetles. right now i would say you are OK.

72 isn't too bad. Anything over, you will have to be on the lookout for beetles. My humis have been over 72 for many summers and I haven't seen beetles in my humi, but I have seen them before.

You want to shoot for 70 or less. That is the standard.

Yes it is....my wife knows I have alot invested in my cigars and my cigar smoking so my thermostat stays at 70% spring, summer fall and winter!
