Crappy night

It started out fine with the wife and me going out to a street festival. I saw a booth with the words Premium Hand Rolled Cigars in bold black letters so I stopped by and bought a $6 Connecticut robusto. The company is a local company here on the island called "The Little Cigar Factory". Worse cigar ever!
After putting up with as much of it as I could I finally gave up on it and wrote it off while still looking forward to dining at a neat little BBQ joint in town.

1 hour wait!! We leave and head to the other side of LI, from the Bay to the Sound, and stop at a favorite spot to have some seafood. I ordered a half dozen clams on the halfshell, a bowl of lobster bisque and a grilled medley of Mahi Mahi, swordfish and tuna. I'm home less than 10 minutes and I feel sick!

I'm hoping that the raw clams didn't do me in because food poisoning is the last thing that I need. I'm thinking that if it was that serious my body would have expelled it by now. Sigh....

Just got back from the drug store and they don't carry ipecac any more. The pharmacist said to drink something carbonated and go to bed, if I wake up in the morning feverish and ill to go to the hospital. Ya think!!

I'm planning on smoking that stick tomorrow at tubaman's BBQ herf along with some others fine cigars! I'm also bringing a bottle of Courvoisier XO Imperial to kill any bugs that might be in my gut!

Well I don't feel terrible this morning. Gonna make some coffee and breakfast, watch Race to Witch Mountain and set some smokes aside for later today. Either way I think I'll be giving up on eating raw clams from now on, man I love them critters!
