Did anybody get one to try when they were available?

I have one friend that got his hands on one and all he talked about were the burn issues.

I have a review on the blog...

I did not have many burn issues, but it was a STRONG cigar...

I bought a 10 pack to age, and see if they would get any better...

Should have checked your site first Brooksey!

Any word on whether or not it's gonna be a regular or special line available in the near future?

The info I have on it is that it is a Very limited production, and will not happen again...

Having said that, Jack still seems to have some in stock...

Don't waste your money, if you want one, I will throw one in with the other package I have going to you :)

Actually I shared the same feeling as you BW when I first got them, but I smoked my second at the beach this week and it was far less powerful.

Just my 2 cents.

That is what I like to hear!

I will let mine sit for a while longer, but look forward to trying them again :)

I had one...strong but delicious...I loved it! not a burn issue at all! I actually just picked up another in the HTF pass...that thing didn't stand a chance when it got to me!
Agreed, I loved this stick. Beautiful appearance with the absolutely gorgeous wrapper. One of the oiliest wrappers I have seen. As for strength, it didn't wow me with its power, it is a La Flor after all. Only 83 boxes of these made and I only have one left. I predict these would age beautifully as well.

No burn issues here.. and definitely strong when compared to the regular line... this one is more complex and has an extra layer of sweetness that I don't get in the regular Coronado. I really like this stick and jumped on a second box after going through a fiver in a week....they will age well.... powerful, yes,.... it's no DL chisel, though.

I've had 1 as well and I just talked to Eric at Jack and he said as off last week they still had a couple (read as 1-3) boxes left. I ordered a 5er from him and they're still selling at the original retail price. The one I had I thought was very strong as well, I wonder how it compares to the T110? Definitely one of the most gorgeous dark wrappers I've ever seen though!

i tried one this week after they've rested for a bit. was less intense, but still very flavorful. think it will age very well.
you could probably get nick to wash your car for a month if you offer him one!!!

Okay, they've arrived. Here's a picture for comparison purposes:

They have a wonderful peppery smell. Beautiful construction. Dense and oily -- very oily.

It's crappy outside but I think I'll venture out there to take the Coronado Maduro for a spin.

Prelight taste was amazing. Peppery and sweet.

The initial puff was very strong. Not as strong as a Man O' War Ruination, but strong. After about an inch it mellowed into a sweet, less peppery flavor.

There were some burn issues. From the get-go, it had an uneven burn but after a touchup it was fine.

Overall I really enjoyed it. I liked it better than the original Coronado. I hope Litto Gomez decides to make these again.

I have one left, I'll see what some aging does to it.

These are very good cigars... mellow nicely with just a few months.

Good notes man!
I was HOPING that would be the case....right after they were released, they were almost unsmokable they were so strong (to me)...

However, I am going to let mine sit another 6 months or so...they are not going anywhere:)
