Damn! That sure would be nice.

I found a wallet with $650 in it once while I was working at a Renaissance Festival. I returned it to the lost and found. Couldn't live with the guilt if I took it.

Obviously there is no lost and found involved with the street though. Cha-Ching!
Well, at first i did bring it in school and gave it to one of my teachers in case some lost it because that day we where going out for easter vacation, i assumed someone had that money with him/her.

After the easter vacation, the teacher came up to me and told me no one claimed it so she gave it to moi.

$250 is a big find. That's why I hate to carry large sums of cash--always afraid I'll lose my wallets and some kid will make out like a bandit! LOL

What were you doing with that much money at school?

You know your Dad told you not to bring your allowance to school with you.

Reminds me of when I had to pay my college going daughters parking fines of about $200.00 so she could get her FREAKING GRADES. Aaaarrgh!

Once I found some money; although it was not lost by me. Many years ago I rented a condo and found an envelope under the ice bucket in the freezer with 29 100 dollar bills in it! I was stoked but it made me wonder what kind of person rented it before me? Were they drug dealers or what?

Nah, it was just a poor old lady who didn't trust banks and was very absent minded. In fact because she forgot where she hid her life savings she was evicted from that very condo and wandered the streets for months until her untimely death one winter from exposure. :glassesgr
