Thanks for all the answers....

Both cigars are similar in appearance. The ones from Italy seem stronger but the were from a year earlier. Both were purchased as a box intact with tax stamps and all. I guess I did not expect the inconsistency in the packaging and the "How to spot a fake Cuban" sites all made it seem like the boxes / stamps / branding MUST look a certain way to be real.

The sponsor that I purchased from would allow a return but I think I will keep them.

Maybe they are both real. It sucks that there is not defacto way to tell......

Now to find me a Tat T110 or porkchop.....Anyone? (sorry moving to trades forum now...)

The Maddy 5 Secretos is a stick I`ve had a good bit of experience with. Send me a couple from each box, and I`ll give you my opinion:grin:

Quite common when done by Habanos S.A. for inspection of product. There is a Spanish word stamped and associated with it, but I am drawing a blank on the word now so my other brothers will need to help me out here. . .:help:

Edit: See this thread.
I've often received legit boxes with 2 tax seals in lower left corner- and not just on Revisado or Controlado boxes.
